Hidden in the most secured vault in the world
Were your deepest secrets you held so tight,
You knew it all by heart, and locked it with a key
You never even thought of sharing it with me

E
verytime I asked, you shushed me away,
I never got the chance to have my say,
I lied to myself, saying that it will be alright
As long as you are here by my side.

Time passed, and I realized,
It was the hand of a stranger I held all this time
I searched for answers in your once readable eyes
But could find no connection to this heart of mine

I had no choice but to end it here
what bond is this that we tie, without any trust?
I couldn?t cry, not a single tear
Because I knew I loved a man with a mas
k.

Many Many people wear masks today, its a folly and sadness of life today. Trying to be your own person, is a real challenge of life today.

When a heart and mind are closed it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain a connection. Nicely done!
