Be Still by Wordview Published on 12/10/2008

Please listen in silence
Stand near to the ledge
Perhaps, your nearest & dearest would hear you the best.

These warped cobbled walkways
Supports troubled fourways
As puzzles & struggles
Provide you with more rage.

But calm yourself down
Make stress to be less
Be like babe to breast
Close your eyes & rest.

How loud is the quiet?
How soft is the voice
How dry is the moist who don't often rejoice?

Beware of the worries who wait in the wake
Be there where the state might just spare you the hate.

I love ""How loud is the quiet?"". The need for the soothing balm of peace is great these days. Nicely done!

Thank you mystery.I was tempted for a moment to have that line as the title of the poem, but i felt that ""Be Still"" just said so much more.I agree with you, but instead of more i feel absolute peace is needed.
